Forbes Global Under 30 Retreat 2019

Forbes 30 Under 30 honorees from around the world, U30 listmakers from the CEE region and VIP guests will be gathering in Bratislava!

The Slovak edition of Forbes magazine, together with its parent Forbes US and Globsec, proudly bring the most important worldwide business festival for young entrepreneurs, start-up leaders, investors and business leaders, the FORBES Global 30 Under 30 Retreat to the capital of Slovakia.

From Thursday 6th June to Sunday 9th June, Slovakia will make its mark on the global scale as a successful and modern country, a healthy economy with strong, innovative spirit and also with the unique central European culture. Discussions with successful entrepreneurs, investors and start-ups will be enlivened by several debates with politicians, there will be a rich cultural programme and opportunities for matchmaking and networking throughout the event.

We’ll get together at the historic Old Town Market in Bratislava’s Old City for a proper Slovakian kickoff for our 350 participants — 30 Under 30 honorees from every continent and more than 25 countries. For this night only, we’ll also add 350 top participants from our partner conference, GLOBSEC, which brings together some of the leading investors and political leaders in the world for a unique dose of mixing and potential mentorship. Rather than just talking about change, we’re going to do something about it. 100 of our participants will take over one of the most historic spots in Central Europe, the 18th-century Primate’s Palace, where the Holy Roman Empire was dissolved and the Austro-Hungarian Empire emerged. We’ll work with Bratislava’s mayor and chief innovation officer to brainstorm ideas to help our majestic host city. REGISTRATION MANDATORY.

14:00 – 18:00 An Afternoon on the Danube
For the rest of us, we get a private cruise up the historic Danube to historic Devin Castle, near the site on the river where many brave Slovaks died trying to swing for freedom during the Cold War. Special surprise: An on-board pitch competition for young local entrepreneurs, where the winner could win more than 50,000 Euro.

19:00 – 24:00 Historic Bratislava Pub Crawl
The ancient Old City of Bratislava is closed to cars, and for a night, we’ll explore the city, bar-by-bar, as everyone will get a map, tickets and the best night of the summer.
